Joseph Feland, IAAI-CFI (V), IAAI-FIT

Joe Feland started his career with a Sheriff’s Department in Oregon as a Cadet. There he worked for three years before becoming a Deputy in 2004. He later transitioned to the Oregon State Police in 2010 and worked as a Trooper for the next four years. Mr. Feland took a position as a Detective with the Oregon State Police Arson Unit in 2014 and additionally became an NFPA Certified Fire Investigator and has prior experience as a Certified Hazardous Device Technician.

Mr. Feland is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI). He holds a Certified Fire Investigator with a vehicle endorsement (IAAI-CFI®(V)) and Fire Investigation Technician (IAAI-FIT®) designation . Mr. Feland is also a member of the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI). Mr. Feland sits on the Board of Directors for the Oregon chapter of the IAAI.

Mr. Feland brings with him 18+ years of experience in the criminal justice system including courtroom testimony and ten years of fire and explosion investigation experience with him to every investigation.
