Joe started his career with a Sheriff’s Department in Oregon as a Cadet. There he worked for three years before becoming a Deputy in 2004. He later transitioned to the Oregon State Police in 2010 and worked as a Trooper for the next four years. Joe took a position as a Detective with the Oregon State Police Arson Unit in 2014 and additionally became an NFPA Certified Fire
Investigator. Joe also has prior experience as a Certified Hazardous Device Technician. He is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) and holds a Fire Investigation Technician (FIT) designation. Joe also sits on the Board of Directors for the Oregon chapter of the IAAI.
Joe brings with him 18+ years of experience in the criminal justice system
including courtroom testimony and eight years of fire and explosion investigation experience with him to every investigation.
