Integrated Solutions for Fire & Failure Analysis

Our integrated organization approach of experts and staff produce a more thorough investigation into the Origin and Cause of a loss documented in the reports of our experts. When potential causes for the event are determined the FCA technical services team will provide research into the products and equipment involved as well as detailed information on the property and involved parties that may assist the engineers in assessing what caused the event. Supporting the forensic investigation of the evidence in the lab during the examination process, following the scientific method and agreed protocols. FCA labs have the ability to provide useful data in the analysis of selected artifacts.

Clients may utilize our lab space through the rental program for additional testing and analysis with their own experts. The Technical Services team is ready to lend their expertise and support throughout the entire fire analysis process.

Comprehensive Investigation Support

As an investigation determines the origin of the fire or water loss it is ready to focus on the potential cause. In addition to our investigators and engineers FCA has a technical services staff supporting them with additional, valuable information to assist in the determination of cases ranging from vehicle fires to water loss to home and wildlands fires.

In the field services include LiDAR/3D image scanning, drone imaging and X-ray image capture. Our on-site labs are equipped to handle both non-destructive and destructive examinations, with Laboratory Technicians available to provide further support with X-ray imaging, elemental analysis and Microscopy photography. Additionally, FCA has the skill to produce computer models to reconstruct the scene of fire or water loss. These models provide insight into the timeline of an event revealing how it began and progressed. The engineering analysis of an event with these models has proven deterministic in many instances.
