Mr. Spezzacatena has been a fire investigator with Fire Cause Analysis since April of 2019 and has recently passed the challenge of the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) to become a certified Fire Investigation Technician. Mr. Spezzacatena is also a Certified Fire Explosion Investigator (CFEI) with the NAFI. He has participated in over 200 fire investigations utilizing the scientific method in identifying the origin and cause of the fire, on scene excavation and reconstruction, and conducting interviews of witnesses. Mr. Spezzacatena is experienced in documenting the scene with photography and diagrams and the identification, collection and transportation of fire scene evidence.
