Ulises Castellon and Sally Noma are conducting a Webinar on March 17th from 10:00 am-11:00 am PDT, for the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP).  It’s an honor to be selected to present a Webinar or in person training for this organization!

The Webinar topic is: “ARSON INVESTIGATORS SUBROGATION WEBINAR SERIES – PUBLIC FIRE INVESTIGATOR – FRIEND OR FOE?”

Topic Discussion: When a fire happens, insurance companies ensure that a qualified origin and cause investigator is retained and sent to the scene in order to determine the origin and cause of the fire, preserve the scene and conduct a professional and complete investigation. However, there is an investigator at the scene before the professional origin and cause investigator: the local fire department fire investigator. The local public investigator may have findings that support or hurt the subrogation case. Is the local fire investigator a friend or foe? Participants will learn how to challenge the findings of the public investigator or use the results to their advantage when needed in order to settle cases pre-litigation and to effectively take depositions while in litigation. Participants will learn the latest changes to NFPA in the 2017 edition which will assist in this endeavor to leverage the public investigator investigation.
