Chad R. Pancoe Gurney

Chad Pancoe Gurney began his fire service career in 2000. Shortly after going to his first structure fire he was invited back for the investigation. He attended two fire investigations on that day, and began to pursue the fire investigation process. Mr. Pancoe Gurney continued to assist in investigating fires while achieving his formal training at the State of California as well as a certificate of training from the National Fire Academy in Maryland. He became a lead investigator for his department as well as a lead fire investigator for the County Task Force. Mr. Pancoe Gurney developed a fire investigator training program for Arcata Fire Protection District to train new fire investigators. In 2017 Mr. Pancoe Gurney began conducting fire and explosion investigations with Fire Cause Analysis.
